Atado is an experimental artsy short film that portrays the afternoon of a Chinese couple living in Barcelona while they try to fall asleep in the midst of the cacophony of television news and the constant distraction of their personal desires. During their dream, the present melts with the past and the future.

Through images and sounds, the director tries to break the ties of culture, language, and gender, and to reach a more essential common will as a human being. At the same time, he aims to find a new cinematic language and to represent a way of filmmaking that thrives between fiction and documentary.
